Stellar Vortex

Stellar Vortex is an interactive installation inspired by an ancient Chinese culture of divination that used turtle shells. The shells served as a medium to access the power of the universe. Aligned with the observation of stars, predictions could be made. This project re-interprets these methods as a unique narrative experience – connecting personal memory to the power of nature through the interaction of a star map and the projection on a turtle shell. These interactions work with different systems for understanding time and space. I use the digital way to explore and reshape our connection to universal power, creating a digital carrying container between the soul and nature.
